About

I think I was born with the photography bug. My Grandfather, my Dad, and some of my Aunts have done fantastic hobbyist work for decades. I remember my first camera, a Kodak Disc camera given to me by my parents. I ate up film like it was free on the 4th-5th grade class trip to Washington D.C., I was hooked. I haven't put down my camera for long since that trip.

After studying Photography and Graphic Design at Oregon State University, back when they still had a Photography-Visual Arts Degree, my passion for extracting the perfect moment intensified, whether the assignment was shooting events, sports, friends or editorial.

Today I shoot the majority of my work digitally, but continue to preserve the craft of making beautiful photos.

Speed of Life Photography allows me to feed my passion for capturing life through a lens. I specialize in location lifestyle sessions and family portraits, as well as events and sports.
